About the artist

Saugerties, NY, photographer Ken Dreyfack has been living in the Hudson Valley since 2008. A New Yorker by birth and a Frenchman by naturalization, he has divided his life between two countries, two languages, two cultures. With a background in print journalism, Ken is largely self-taught as a photographer. He is co-moderator of the monthly Photographers’ Salon at the Center for Photography in Woodstock (CPW) (NY). 

His work was selected for the 10 SPOT: Photography exhibits at the Sohn Fine Art Gallery, Lenox, MA and the Licktenstein Center for the Arts, Pittsfield, MA in Feb. 2017; the Night and Black & White group exhibits at the Center for Fine Art Photography (2016), Ft. Collins, CO; PHOTOCentric 2015 at the Garrison Art Center, Garrison, NY, Director’s Choice (2015/16), Poughkeepsie, NY, The Miami Photo Salon (2015) and many other exhibits. Ken was chosen as a finalist for the 2016 Photolucida Critical Mass competition. His work was selected for the Jan. 2017 publication of the 100th anniversary issue of European Photography. A solo exhibit of his work will be held at the Woodstock Artist Association and Museum (WAAM) during the 2nd half of 2017.
